Currently, I am trying to modify CQUAL, a tool that performs static type inference of C Programs, such that it will detect certain types of implicit information flow. These flows represent leakage of important information and need to be rectified in order to guarantee that a system is secure.

Sri Hari Krishna Narayanan

I am a Doctoral student under Dr. Mahmut Kandemir in the Microsystems Design Laboratory at the Computer Science and Engineering Department at Penn State. Prior to this I completed my undergraduate studies in Computer Science and Engineering at Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering.

My research is focussed on compiler directed techniques for solving challenges in embedded systems. I have researched thermal issues in multicore designs, techniques to overcome Soft Errors and compiler directed security mechanisms.
