The Penn State "Power x Performance" Project

Welcome, guest. This is a "wiki," a user-maintained collaboration platform. This web space encompasses the web presence of the Power x Performance project at The Pennsylvania State University's computer science and engineering department. This site is hosted under the MDL^? wiki and the project is a joint effort between members from the CSE MDL^? and scientific computing groups.

About the project

The purpose of the PxP project is to develop new and effective ways of reducing power consumption without impacing performance in large super-computing clusters like the IBM BlueGene/L mega-cluster. I'll let someone else write more about this here.
